KINN Studios is looking for mural assistants for upcoming summer 2026 projects across Calgary. This is a hands-on opportunity to work alongside experienced mural artists on commercial and public art installations.

What you will do

Assist lead artists with surface preparation, priming, and painting
Help with layout transfer, gridding, and projection setup
Mix and manage paint, keep the site organized and clean
Support with installation logistics, equipment setup, and site teardown
Document the process (photos and video when needed)

What we are looking for

Comfortable working at heights (ladders, scaffolding, lifts)
Reliable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in summer conditions
Some painting or art background (does not need to be professional mural experience)
Able to commit to full project days (typically 8-10 hours)
Based in or around Calgary with own transportation

This is a paid opportunity. Compensation varies depending on the project scope and duration. We will be in contact via email if we need help on an upcoming project. Fall Protection and MEWP (lift) certifications are an asset but not required.

Timeline
